Achieving sustainable development will require
changes of attitude and behaviour. A new economy, to support this process, is
needed and beginning to grow. This is a
guide to some of the people and organisations involved. For example at Beech
Farm Shop, pictured left, Proprietor, Pam Prestwood is always seeking to
build up links with local sources of high quality produce (see sample list) to add to the
range of food coming from her own family farm. She was recently Highly
Commended for her work by Sustainable Staffordshire, and is seen receiving her award from Trewin Restorick,
Director of Global Action Plan. Suggestions
